Peru and Bolivia are two countries rich in culture and wildlife.

During this trip, you'll discover the towns and the tourist attractions of Peru's Coast and the wonderful Andes.

During your trip in Peru beautiful country, you'll visit the many historical, cultural and natural monuments such as Paracas's fauna, the mysterious Nazca's lines, the legendary Titicaca Lake and the amazing Machu Picchu.

Bolivia, shows one of the most amazing and spectacular natural landscapes and  plateaus such as South Lopez which is an arid desert region to over 4000 meters height or 13.00 feet. The mountains are reflected in the calm waters of the lagoons such as the Laguna Colorada, which is also inhabited by the famous pink flamingos. Speaking about beauty and wealth, Bolivia has the great Salar de Uyuni. It is a huge white salt desert unique in the world. Then Potosi is a colonial's city where it is possible to see today the silver mines due to the exploitation.

DAY 2: Lima - Paracas

A half day tour where you'll discover the main tourist attractions of Lima's capital city knows as the King's city.

We'll start the journey by the historical colonial part of the city, starting at the main square. Then, the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the church and monastery of San Francisco, one of the oldest in the city, and its catacombs.

Then, you'll visit the modern part of the city, like Miraflores and Larcomar viewpoint, located along the Pacific Ocean. Return to hotel. 

Option 1: Lunch in a traditional restaurant in the bohemian district of Lima, Barranco. 

Option 2: For those who have one more day in Lima you can visit the museums (Museo Larco, National Museum and / or the Gold Museum). In the evening possibility to visit the famous sightseeing bus in Waters Park.

Day 3: Paracas - Nazca

In the morning, transfer to Paracas's port where you'll go by boat to the Ballestas Islands. Here, you'll see the abundant marine life such as sea lions, sea birds such as herons, gulls, pelicans, penguins and much more.

Also, in the way, we'll stop to see the impressive carved candlestick on the dune, visible only from the sea which is from unknown origin.

This tour lasts approximately 2h30.

Return in the morning, and then continue to Nazca.

Arrival at the end of the day and transfer to your hotel.

Optional: On the way Paracas / Nazca, there is the city of Ica, where you can do some adventure sports in the dunes like the Buggy and Sunboarding. But it is only possible if the drive is in a private vehicle.

Day 4: Nazca - Arequipa

In the morning, we'll go to Nazca to get into the wilderness. We'll visit the pre-Columbian cemetery of Chauchilla, the ceremonial center that still retains mummies over 1000 years old. 

In the afternoon, we'll catch a bus to Arequipa's city knows as the white city.

This way will be the longest of your trip that lasts about 9-10 hours.

Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Optional: In Nazca you have the possibility to overflight Nazca Lines, to see its enigmatic and impressive figures.

Day 5: Arequipa - Santa Catalina Convent

Morning tour to explore the splendid "White City" of Arequipa.

We begin our tour from the Plaza de Armas, a Jesuit church. It is one of the best preserved churches of the city where we will see masterpieces of art work.

Then, we continue to the Mirador de Yanahuara for the panoramic city view and the surrounding volcanoes such as Misti volcano.

Finally a visit of Santa Catalina's Monastery and its Convent where you'll see some of the best religious works from the colonisation.

Day 6: Arequipa - Colca

This day we'll go to the amazing Colca Valley. Then, we'll have a stop to Chivay charming village. It will be the highest way of our journey in Peru  with 4900 meters above sea level, 0r 15.00 feet. From this point, we will see the volcanoes of this region.

Continuing to the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, comprising an area inhabited by vicunas (Famous for its wool).

Then, we descend into the Colca Valley, with a beautiful view of the agricultural terraces growed by local inhabitants. We'll arrive to Chivay around midday. Free lunch. 

Free afternoon to visit the local market and then enjoy the thermal baths of Caleras. (Entrance not included).

DAY 7: Mirador of the Condors - Puno

Early in the morning we'll leave by bus to condor's viewpoint. You'll have the chance to observe the huge condors very closely and the impressive Colca Canyon with1200 meters depth.

Then, return to Chivay after you'll visit some local villages such as Yanque, Maca, Pinchollo, among others.

In the afternoon, drive to Puno. This city is located on the banks of the legendary Titicaca Lake.

Arrival by the end of the day and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Lake Titicaca: Uros Islands - Taquile

You'll have a tour on the legendary Titicaca Lake, located 3810 meters above sea level.

Pick up from your hotel early in the morning and transfer to the dock. Here, you'll take the boat to Uros island. It made entirely of reeds, the inhabitants live here for many centuries. You'll climb on one of these traditional boats called "Caballito de Totora" and you'll have also a short walk.

Then, we'll continue to Taquile's island. Here we'll go for a walk to the top of the island. It is famous for its magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Taquile is an ancient town with terraced fields on a wide expanse which confirm the great industry since many centuries. It used to be famous for the ancestral customs and the laws. The men of this island, made special tissues from Alpaca wool such as chullos.

Day 9: Puno - Desaguadero - La Paz Bolivia

Morning departure to Bolivia via Desaguadero. We must be register to enter in the country.

In Bolivia, we will visit the archaeological complex of Tiwanaku, with its temples and palaces built with huge lithic, worked with an admirable mastery.

Arrival in La Paz late in the day. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 10: La Paz - Visit of a city

Visit of the different attractions in La Paz's city such as: The Temple of San Francisco, la plaza de los heroes, the Church of the Recoleta, the Witches Market, Museum of Ethnography and folklore, the Government Palace, the Culture house and the Mirador Killi-Killi.

DAY 11: La Paz - Uyuni

This day we'll move towards the great Salar de Uyuni.

On the way, we pass Oruro's city. It is the Bolivian folkloric capital located 230 km from La Paz.

Then, we'll continue to Uyuni through a paved parts of only 314km. 

 Arrival in Uyuni at night and installation in the hotel.

OPTION 1: La Paz / Uyuni, this route can also be done with the train Oruro / Uyuni, only on Tuesdays and Fridays.

OPTION 2: La Paz / Uyuni / La Paz in flight, Daily flights.

DAY 12: Uyuni - Incahuasi Island

Morning departure in 4x4 vehicles to explore the Salar de Uyuni. This huge salt desert is unique in the world with more than 12,000 square kilometers. The panorama that you'll see is indescribable.

Our first stop will be at the heart of the Salar, Incahuasi Island of volcanic origin, where you'll see giant cactus.

At midday have a picnic lunch in the salar. Then, we'll see the Salt's eyes  and Colchani a salt exploitation with traditional methods. Finally, we'll pass by the train cemetery.

Return to Uyuni and accommodation in the hotel of your choice.

DAY 13: Uyuni - Potosi

This day we'll continue our way in the bus to Potosi's city.

Arrival around midday, and accommodation at the hotel.

During the afternoon, you'll visit the silver mine of Cerro Rico which is still active today. You can enter in one of the galleries accompanied by a local miner to observe the silver extraction, and also visit the "Casa de la Moneda", where the first coins of America where designed..

This day, we will travel to Bolivia's official capital city: Sucre.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the city with its several colonial monuments such as Freedom House. Here,the independence was declared.

Then, walk around Recolta where you'll be amazed by the beautiful point of view of the city, and its textil Museum.

Then, return to hotel.

Day 15: Flight Sucre - La Paz - Puno

During the morning, transfer to Sucre airport to catch the flight back to La Paz.

Arrival a the International Airport Alto - La Paz.

Then, travel by bus to Puno's city.

DAY 16: Puno - Cusco

This day, we'll go to the imperial city of Cusco. On the way you can visit some places like Pukara.

Then, in Cusco's region we'll visit the archaeological complex of Raqchi, famous for its Inca's temples.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Church of Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Andes by the wealth of art and sculptures inside.  

We'll arrived in Cusco at the end of the day, then transfer to your hotel.

Optional: This route can be made directly in less time (6 hours) in local bus at a lower cost.

DAY 17: Sacred Valley of the Incas: Chinchero - Maras - Moray

This day is dedicated to the visit of one of the Sacred Valley's slopes.

Our first stop will be in the picturesque village of Chincheros where you'll visit the Inca archaeological complex with a beautiful Colonial Church built on an ancient Inca temple.

This town is also knowns for its local vegetable and fruit market which takes place every Sunday, It uswed to be a place to barter or exchange the products as in the past.

 At the end of the day, return to Cusco.

DAY 18: Pisac - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes Train

We'll visit  the other side of the Sacred Valley.

Our first stop will be in Pisac's town where you'll visit its beautiful colonial church and its traditional market in the main street.

Then, you'll climb up Pisac's inca site at the top of a beautiful mountain. This archaeological complex featuring several sectors as the Intihuatana or Temple of the Sun and pisaqa, area neighborhood and religious buildings in the administrative sector, where the local people are responsible  for the administrations.

You'll enjoy its countless terraces of fertil farmland in the valley.  

Around midday, we'll go to the capital of the Sacred Valley: Urubamba. Here, we'll stop  for a free lunch.

During the afternoon, we'll visit the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo before to catch the train to Aguas Caliente knows as Machu Picchu pueblo, where we will spend the night.

DAY 19: Machu Picchu - Cusco

Finally it is the great day where you'll visit the amazing Machu Picchu, considered as one of the great wonders of the world.

Pick up in your hotel early in the morning to catch the bus up to the Inca citadel.

3 hours guided around the different parts such as: the agricultural sector, urban sector, the religious sector and industrial sector. Then, you'll have some free time for some additional walks. We suggest the Inti Punku or the Sun Gate for a panoramic view on the citadel.
