During the Lares trek at the Machu Picchu, you will appreciate the spectacular Andean landscapes, with its lakes, and observe the amazing fauna.

Early in the morning, departure in bus to Lares village (3 hours).
During the trip, you will see beautiful landscapes with mountains and valleys where you will meet little communities. Arrived at Lares, you can bath in the thermal water pools where the water attain 28°C. The entrance is not included, the price is approximately 15 soles/person.
You will lunch in Lares before begin your trek (2 hours) to the camping of Wacasi (3600 meters).

After the breakfast, you will continue with the Wacawasi trek.
You will climb to the village at 4400 meters of altitude which name is Ipsay. We will do a short stop to enjoy the landscape of the neighbor mountain.
Then we will go down in a flat place to have your lunch. After a short rest time, we will continue the trek to Patacancha village.
During this day, you will have the chance to see farmers labour in their daily activities like the agriculture or handicrafts.

Early in the morning, after the breakfast, we will begin the trek going first to the village of Willoc at 3600 meters of altitude. Willoc is an Indian village who still preserve its olds traditions.
After, we will pass through Puma Marca, old Inca site at 3400 meters of altitude.
After 4 hours walking, we will arrive in Ollantaytambo village located at 2850 meters of altitude.
The lunch is free.
Here, you will leave your guide to go back to Cusco and you will have time to visit freely the village and the site of Ollantaytambo before taking the train to Aguas Calientes at the end of the day.
The ride of train is 1h30 long, and you will be welcomed by the staff of the hotel in Aguas Calientes.

In the morning, departure from the hotel with your guide.
You will catch a shuttle bus to climb to the Machu Picchu.
The Inca city, discovered again less than a century earlier, is fascinating all the travelers by its mysteries and its beauty ! A guided visit will be scheduled and after you will discover freely all the corners of the Machu Picchu.
